Coding Coordinator - Requisition #10959

An exciting opportunity is being offered by Avita Health System.  Seeking a Coding Coordinator to join HIM.  Successful applicants will reside within a reasonable driving distance of Crestline, Ohio, as this is a hybrid position depending upon the needs of the department.  Avita offers a competitive salary and benefits.  This is an exempt position. 

The Coding Coordinator assures coding practices are compliant, efficient, accurate and consistent.  Performs training, reviews, and audits of coding team.  Various projects as assigned.  Reports to Coding Manager and HIM Director.

Qualifications:

Three or more years of coding experience with demonstrated subject matter expertise in the application of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding.  

Professional certification through AHIMA to include RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, or similar.
